PhantomPlate Nano – Installation Instructions

Step 1 — Clean the Surfaces

Thoroughly clean both your vehicle's license plate mounting area and the back of your license plate using isopropyl alcohol or an automotive surface cleaner. Remove all dirt, grease, and wax, then allow both surfaces to dry completely.

Step 2 — Install the Nano Base to Your Vehicle

Remove the backing from the square 3M VHB adhesive pads on the PhantomPlate Nano base mounts.

Carefully align the mounts with your vehicle's license plate mounting area and press firmly for 30–60 seconds to create a secure bond.

Important: The square adhesive side attaches to your vehicle.

Step 3 — Attach the Magnet Caps to Your License Plate

With the Nano magnet caps magnetically connected to the base mounts, remove the backing from the circular 3M VHB adhesive pads on the caps.

Carefully align your license plate and press it firmly against both circular adhesive pads for 30–60 seconds.

Important: The circular adhesive side attaches to the back of your license plate.

Step 4 — Let It Cure & Enjoy

Allow the adhesive to fully bond before removing or driving with your license plate. Once cured, simply pull your plate away from the Nano base mounts whenever needed. Reinstallation takes just seconds.

For the strongest bond, allow the 3M VHB adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before driving, washing your vehicle, or exposing it to heavy rain. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's recommendations for your installation temperature and surface.
